AMADC is currently the third largest chapter of the international American Marketing Association (AMA) – itself the largest marketing association in North America with more than 38,000 members worldwide. AMADC is the leading network of marketing professionals driving innovation, professional development and career advancement throughout the DC region. AMADC’s membership base encompasses a vast range of industries that include corporate, media, government, association and non-profit sectors. In 2012, AMADC proudly celebrated its 80th year of providing Marketing Leadership to professionals in the Washington, D.C. area.
AMADC’s existing Drupal 6 website featured a text-heavy, non-responsive design and the navigation and content organization made the site difficult for online visitors to use effectively. AMADC sought to not only refresh the design and layout of the site, but also to eliminate a poorly functioning integration for its member management. In order to accomplish all of these goals, AMADC turned to the Bates Creative and Unleashed Technologies team to migrate to the Drupal 8 platform and deliver an engaging, content rich experience to its membership base.
Following the launch of the new AMADC website, the chapter has experienced membership growth which has resulted in it becoming the third largest chapter of AMA out of a total of 79 chapters in North America. Unleashed Technologies continues to assist AMADC in ongoing site improvements and looks forward playing a role in the chapter’s continued rise in the years to come.
