Unleashed Donates to Girl Who Code, The National Coalition of Homeless Veterans

COLUMBIA, MD – December 22, 2020 – COVID-19 wreaked havoc across society and the globe this year. Unleashed Technologies was able to transform quickly and successfully navigate a challenging landscape. Not everyone has been so fortunate.

Unleashed Technologies is committed to our communities and helping those in need during tough times. We are proud to announce donations to Girls Who Code and The National Coalition of Homeless Veterans.

"Even though Unleashed was born out of the 2008 financial crisis and designed for harsh economic times, no one could have imagined how hard this past year would be,” CEO Muhammad Hutasuhut said. “With the holidays upon us, we are extremely thankful and proud to share our good fortune with those in our communities in need.”

Girls Who Code is an international nonprofit organization working to close the gender gap in technology and leading the movement to inspire, educate, and equip young women with the computing skills needed to pursue 21st-century opportunities.

Since launching in 2012, Girls Who Code has reached 500 million people through its work and 300,000 girls through its in-person programming. College-aged alumni of Girls Who Code are declaring majors in computer science and related fields at 15 times the U.S. average.

“We have some amazing women at our agency, and we need more. Not just here, but throughout the tech industry,” Hutasuhut added.

The Coalition of Homeless Veterans is a mission-driven organization that works to end veteran homelessness by shaping policy, building, and expanding homelessness services, ensuring accountability, and managing a referral helpline for veterans experiencing and at-risk of homelessness. The military community has been the bedrock of Unleashed Technologies’ success.

Some of the Unleashed Technologies’ most notable accounts include the United States Naval Institute (USNI), Air Force Association (AFA), National Guard Association of the United States (NGAUS), and The Association of the United States Army (AUSA).

“Knowing how much military support organizations have done for us as professionals and as Americans, we felt the need to give back to these selfless and outstanding individuals that work to keep us safe every day,” said Michael Spinosa, president, and co-founder of Unleashed Technologies.

Unleashed Technologies is thankful to all of our clients and supporters for putting us in a position to give back to these wonderful organizations.
