The business development specialist will be integral in all aspects of the sales process which includes networking, creating outreach strategies, identifying opportunities, writing/proofreading proposals, recommending solutions to potential clients, and ensuring that all prospects have the high touch experience consistent with our delivery of services.

The education required for this position is a Bachelor's degree preferred with a minimum of an Associates degree.


Our Business Development Specialist is going to be most successful with this set of experience:

  • Previous sales experience in which you demonstrated the ability to meet or exceed sales quotas a plus (but not required)
  • Previous sales experience in the digital marketing space preferred but not required
  • HubSpot certifications are a plus
  • Willingness and ability to acquire HubSpot certifications once hired

Primary Responsibilities: 

The Business Development Specialist is responsible for taking leads that are in various states and further engaging them with Unleashed Technologies. This role includes but is not exclusive to:

  • Work closely and collaboratively with executives in sales to develop and implement appropriate prospecting, presentation and overall sales strategies
  • Engage with the business community, councils, and attend events regularly
  • Conduct prospecting to qualify leads through research, networking, calls, emails, and social media
  • Help manage inbound opportunities in conjunction with the marketing team
  • Schedule meetings for the team to further assess a prospect’s business and potential for partnership with Unleashed Technologies
  • Schedule web and marketing consultations as well as sales discovery meetings to further assess a prospect's organization as a potential partner for Unleashed Technologies
  • Conduct needs qualification calls with specific prospects as assigned
  • Work across multiple verticals including manufacturing,
  • Learn the necessary fundamentals to be a great salesperson
  • Learn how a variety of businesses operate, what challenges they face on a daily basis, and how technology can dramatically improve their businesses and their employees' lives
