Colin O'Dell first started programming on an old Apple II-e at the age of 7. Within four years, he mastered several BASIC variants and sold his first commercial application. After tinkering with different languages and technologies for a few years, he focused on website/application development and co-founded a local web company at 15. He worked on projects that included sites for local businesses as well as personal/organizational finance management applications.

While attending the University of Rhode Island in 2008, Colin joined Unleashed Technologies as a PHP developer and quickly expanded into other languages such as ASP, JavaScript, and C#. He developed two Content Management Systems, custom web applications, and worked on numerous Drupal sites before settling into his Lead Magento Developer role. One aspect he enjoys about Magento development is utilizing the platform's object-oriented structure to enhance and develop functionality to meet the clients' needs; with such a flexible framework to work with, the sky is truly the limit for what he can accomplish.

In addition to working on e-commerce sites, Colin also enjoys developing mobile applications on the Android platform, where he's a published developer with over 100,000 app downloads. He's excited for what the future holds in both the e-commerce and mobile spaces and looks forward to working on such projects.
