Unleashed Technologies was proud to be a co-sponsor of the recent "Lunch and Learn" event that took place yesterday at our Data Center facility in Ashburn, VA. The event, put on by Unleashed Technologies, Latisys, and Intelishift Technologies featured a full walk through of the facilities and then a a sit down lunch where Ryan Barbera provided insightful information into the changing landscape of cloud based solutions.

The event put focus on the changing landscape of Data Center and how in the past the critical questions were much different than they are today as bandwidth and physical security become a commodity. Today the focus is on scalable resources (RAM, CPU, HD SPACE), critical power requirements, and the service layer that helps ensure "always on" availability. As expectations continue to rise for security our Data Center presence provides a Tier III facility that's fully SAS 70 - Type II compliant.

Admittedly, We didn't get as many pictures as we would have liked, as from an invite list of roughly 77 almost 70 showing up resulting in at least 5 - 6 tours of the facility and of course an equal amount of lunches/presentations. The event was such a success that we'll be looking at doing more of these in the future; helping to educate private companies and non-profits on how they can reduced costs, lower administrative overhead, and increase reliability/availability of their technology solutions.
